SolutionsExceptions & actions

From a failed reading to a closed exception.

A reading outside its limits opens an exception automatically. Owners, corrective actions, retests and manager review keep the follow-up in one place until it is closed.

A hand-entered reading of 49.2 °C at a sentinel tap, marked as a deviation from its configured minimum of 50 °C.
Example data

What you get

  • Opened for you

The exception is raised the moment a reading breaks a control rule, with a severity and the reading that caused it.

  • An owner and a due date

Every exception has someone responsible for it. Past its due date, they are reminded, and a day later a manager is told.

  • Corrective actions

Assign the work, such as flushing, raising a calorifier set point or calling a contractor, each with its own owner and deadline.

  • Retest on the same outlet

The exception waits for a new reading on the same point, so it is closed on evidence rather than on a promise.

  • Manager-reviewed closure

Only a manager closes an exception, after reviewing the resolution and the retest.

  • The whole story kept

Every status change, note and action is recorded with who did it and when.
